The Expo features both speakers and demonstrations included in the general admission ticket. We also offer the opportunity for attendees to explore a variety of paid workshops to expand their homestead knowledge even further. See the list below for all our speakers and workshop hosts and what they will be offering at the Expo.

Emily Kyle, a nationally recognized Holistic Cannabis Practitioner & celebrated
author, is dedicated to empowering individuals through cannabis education & wellness resources; she will be speaking on home cultivation and medicinal uses of cannabis.

Brandon Zehr with Champion Peak Maple will be offering an engaging and fun presentation on Maple 101. Brandon blends history, hands-on knowledge, and hard-earned lessons to show how maple sugaring can boost both resilience and income.

Emily Tingue from Lucky Day Homestead hosts workshops on various topics such as the benefits of Medicinal Herbs, Foraging wild medicine, Drying and Preserving herbs and edible flowers for winter, Tea Making, and Natural Remedies.

Patty Love, owner of Barefoot Permaculture, is a certified permaculture teacher and designer. She teaches regenerative design, permaculture, food forest gardening, homesteading & social permaculture.
Patty will be kicking off our event with a discussion on homesteading as well as offering two workshops.
Explore your soil: soil basics, soil health and management with Conservation District Educator Alaina Robarge.
Ontario County SWCD works with farmers all over the County, focusing on soil health, preventing erosion, and protecting our local water resources.

Cherry Hill Training Center will be offering a sheep dog hoarding presentation at the expo.

Rachelle Treat with Masti Farms is offering attendees a presentation on dehydrating foods. From where to start, what tools are needed, to great recipes to try. Learn the basics to get started with this food preservation technique.
Emily Waniak from Highland Acres Farm out of Frankville, NY will be presenting on gut health: the key to wellbeing.
Learn the benefits of gut health along with gluten free, natural sugars, good probiotics, and whole unprocessed foods.

Melissa's work centers on teaching individuals how to read the body’s signals through body connection, simple energetic communication, and facial features—skills that were once commonly understood but fell out of practice with the rise of a centralized medical model.
